Haryana Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma has restricted the movement of Haryana Roadways buses to ply over the flyover on the National Highway near Ganaur.

Chandigarh, December 15 – Haryana Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma has restricted the movement of Haryana Roadways buses to ply over the flyover on the National Highway near Ganaur. Besides, long route bus drivers, he urged the other Haryana Roadways drivers to ply under the flyover built on the highway so that the passengers do not face any problem and the state roadways department will also not suffer revenue loss.

The Transport Minister was on his way from Chandigarh to Sonipat to attend a meeting on Wednesday. Near Ganaur, he saw that some State Roadways drivers were taking their route over the flyover. He immediately stopped such buses and urged the drivers to take the passengers waiting under the flyover. He said that if the state roadways bus will pass through the flyover then private bus operators will take advantage of this and the state government will also suffer revenue loss and the passengers will face inconvenience.

He said that directions have already been given to the drivers by the department to stop the buses at each bus stoppage so that the buses plying on the routes do not travel vacant. If the buses ply vacant on the routes, then it will cause a revenue loss to the department. He explained to the drivers and operators that they are the backbone of the roadways department. If they will perform their duty honestly, then the roadways department will be strengthened and the common people will get more benefit from it.

On this occasion, the Transport Minister has also directed the officials of the State Roadways Department to keep checking on the National Highway in the same manner from time to time and ensure that no bus passes over the flyover.

More than 800 new buses will be included in the transport fleet- Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma

20 new Volvo buses will also be purchased for long distance bus services

Chandigarh, December 15- Haryana Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma said that more than 800 new buses will be included in the transport fleet by the Government under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, out of which 300 buses will be included in the coming month of March, 2022 and the remaining buses within the year 2022. The Government will also buy 20 new Volvo buses for ensuring long distance bus services to the people.

The Transport Minister said this while interacting with the mediapersons over the monthly review meeting of the District Grievance Redressal Committee held in the auditorium at the Mini Secretariat in Sonipat on Wednesday. He said that in order to increase the income of the Transport Department, directions have been given to all the officers and employees that except long distance bus services, buses of all other routes will ply carrying passengers from under the flyover.

Sh. Mool Chand Sharma, in response to a question regarding obstructing the flow of Yamuna due to mining work in district Sonipat, he said that the plan has been approved by the Chief Minister in this regard. Before mining, a bridge will be constructed on Yamuna river by the Public Works Department, through which contractors will be able to do mining work and the flow of Yamuna will not be obstructed. He said that development works are going on in the state under the leadership of the Chief Minister. Even during the pandemic period of Covid-19, the government paid the full salary of the employees on time and the development work also continued without halt.

The Transport Minister, in response to a query regarding the opening of schools in the district, said that the safety of the people would be ensured by the government on a priority basis. He made it clear that the directions issued by the Supreme Court and the National Green Tribunal regarding the opening of schools would be followed. In view of the increased level of pollution, continuous monitoring is being done by the Supreme Court and the National Green Tribunal. During the meeting MLA, Rai, Sh. Mohan Lal Badoli, former MLA and JJP District President, Sh. Padam Dahiya, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Lalit Siwach were also present.

Chandigarh, December 15- Haryana Chief Secretary, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal while presiding over the first meeting of the Board of Directors of Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam here today said that Nigam should ensure complete transparency in the recruitment process of employees to be hired on contract basis. Besides this, the upliftment of socio-economically disadvantaged candidates should also be ensured.

In the meeting, the Policy prepared by the Nigam for the deployment of employees in various departments was given ex-post facto approval. In the meeting, the Chief Secretary was apprised that Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam has been formed for the appointment of employees on contract basis in government departments, Boards and Corporations. To facilitate and streamline the recruitment process, the Corporation’s one-stop I.T. Portal has been launched.

As per the Policy, government departments and organizations will notify about the requisition of employees on this portal. According to their requirement, recruitment of employees would be done for these departments by the Nigam. The payment of salary of these employees, benefit of EPF and ESI will be ensured by the Nigam.

The Chief Secretary was apprised that the candidates would register on the Nigam’s portal using their PPP ID. The recruitment of employees through the portal will be done as per the eligibility and prescribed criteria. The criteria include family annual income of the registered candidates, candidate’s age, skill qualification, socio-economic criteria, Common Eligibility Test (CET) marks and Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana etc. After this, the Nigam will ensure their employment in departments. Besides this, the data of existing employees working on contract basis will also be uploaded on this portal.

In the meeting, it was informed that the recruitment of employees would be done in a transparent manner adhering to state reservation policy.

Additional Chief Secretary, Employment Department, Sh. V.S. Kundu, Principal Secretary, Skill Development and Industrial Training, Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta, Director, Skill Development and Industrial Training, Sh. Mani Ram Sharma and Chief Executive Officer, Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam, Sh. Anant Prakash Pandey and other senior officers also remained present.

Chandigarh, December 15- Haryana Government has decided to open Nursing Homes, Clinics, Dispensaries, Schools and Creches in their sectors for the convenience of the people residing in the sectors of Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) on the occasion of ’75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

Giving information about this, an official spokesperson said that the state government is constantly taking new steps in the interest of the people of its state. Moving forward in this direction, the HSVP has decided to open nursing homes, clinics, dispensaries, schools and creches in all the sectors of the zone. He said that with the objective of being transparent in alloting the sites of the said institutions, it has been decided to give the site through e-auction. For this, e-auction will be done on December 18, 2021 through the web portal https://hsvphry.org.in and the process of auction will start at 10 am. He informed that the process of registration will close at 5 pm, a day before the date of auction.
