There is no shortage of Oxygen in both government and private hospitals of the State.

Chandigarh, September 14: Haryana has adequate production storage capacity of Liquid and Medical Oxygen and adequate arrangements have been made by the State so as to ensure that there is no shortage of Oxygen in both government and private hospitals of the State. c

Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare, Mr. Rajeev Arora gave this assurance during a video conference organized by Government of India held here today. The conference was held with States to ensure availability of Oxygen for treatment of COVID patients.

Divulging details about availability of oxygen, Mr. Arora said that Haryana has adequate production storage capacity of Liquid and Medical Oxygen.

He said that the State has four Air Separation Units namely Air Liquide Panipat having capacity of around 240 MT , Jindal Steels Hisar having a capacity of 6.8 MT, Gupta Gases having a capacity of 3.0 MT and Gupta Industrial Gases having a capacity of 2.5 MT.

He further informed that Haryana also has eight Medical oxygen fillers to fill Medical Oxygen in D Type and B Type Cylinders and this oxygen is being supplied to Hospitals and Medical Colleges.

“License have also been issued to Industrial Oxygen fillers for manufacturing of Medical Oxygen. Hospitals in Haryana have 29 Cryogenic Tanks for Medical Liquid Oxygen and four have been installed recently in COVID-19 period during last three months,” shared Mr. Rajeev Arora.

He said that there are a total 62 Tankers registered in Haryana for transportation of Liquid Oxygen. Almost all Hospitals have manifolds and regulators for smooth oxygen supply to patients, he added.

Mr. Rajeev Arora said that rates for treatment of COVID-19 patients in Private Hospitals have already been fixed by the State Government. Besides this, Health Department is also ensuring its compliance.

No case of hoarding and black marketing of Oxygen is reported in Haryana and any case of black marketing will be dealt with strongly, he said.

Mr. Arora assured the Government of India that there will be no shortage of Oxygen in the State.

Chandigarh, September 14 – Haryana Home and Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij said that three Exclusive Critical Covid Care Centres will be set up in the state to provide adequate treatment to the patients suffering from Corona.

He said that these centres will be set up at PGIMS, Rohtak, Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College, Karnal and Maharaja Agrasen Medical College, Agroha. He said that arrangement of 100 beds will be made in these Covid Care Centres, where the Corona patients will be completely taken care of.

Mr Vij said that only the patients suffering from Corona will be treated in these Covid Care Centers where adequate arrangement of medicines, medical equipment, doctors and other necessary facilities will be made available.

The Health Minister said that Nodal Officer of the State for Covid-19, Dr Dhruva Chaudhary will monitor these Covid Centres and also provide feedback and other related information to the Government. He said that we should not be relaxed untill the medicine for the treatment of Covid-19 is prepared. Everyone should follow the instructions issued by the Government to prevent the spread of corona infection, he added.

Mr. Vij said that precaution is necessary to prevent the spread of infection. Using face masks, maintaining cleanliness and social distance will help preventing the spread of this virus, he further added.

Chandigarh, September 14 – Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has caught red-handed Head Constable, Ishlam, while accepting illegal gratification of Rs. 3,000.

While giving this information here today, a spokesperson of the Bureau said that a complaint was filed by Mr. Sanjeet Sharma of Village Wazirpur, District Faridabad to State Vigilance Bureau (SVB) that Head Constable Ishlam is demanding Rs. 3,000 for allowing him to continue Boring for earthing work.

He said that acting swiftly the team of State Vigilance Bureau apprehended Head Constable, Ishlam, posted at Police Station Kheri Pull, Faridabad red-handed in the presence of Duty Magistrate Mr. Jaan Mohmad, Naib Tehsildar, Faridabad.

He said that FIR has been registered under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act against the accused in the Police Station of State Vigilance Bureau, Faridabad. Further investigation of the case is in progress, he added.

Chandigarh, September 14 – Haryana Minister of Transport and Mines & Geology, Mr. Mool Chand Sharma will preside over an important meeting to be organized by Haryana State Pollution Control Board on September 15 at 4 pm at the Haryana Niwas.

Discussions regarding increasing pollution in the Agra and Gurugram Canal and distribution of Yamuna water will be held in the meeting. While giving information here today an official spokesperson of the Board, said that in all 15 MLAs, including Mr. Narendra Gupta, Mr. Sudhir Singla, Mr. Sanjay Singh, Mr. Satya Prakash, Mr. Rakesh Daulatabad, Mr. Aftab Ahmed, Mr. Maman Khan, Mr. Mohammed Ilyas, Mrs. Seema Trikha, Mr. Rajesh Nagar, Mr. Neeraj Sharma, Mr. Nayanpal Rawat, Mr. Praveen Dagar, Mr. Jagdish Nair and Mr. Deepak Mangala have also been called for the meeting. Similarly, Additional Chief Secretaries of three important Departments related to the issue namely, Environment and Climate Change, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Irrigation and Water Resources Department will also attend the meeting.

Chandigarh September 14: As per the direction given by Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal to ensure adoption of Hindi as one of the official languages at administrative level across the State, Haryana Sahitya Akademi has started Hindi Pakhwara. Some new schemes have been also been added in the Hindi Pakhwara starting from today.

Sharing information in this regard, Akademi spokesperson said that from September 14, Akademi Hindi administrative vocabulary will be sent to all the heads of departments and corporations to facilitate selection of correct words in Hindi while doing government work.

During this Hindi Pakhwara, money is being sent to the bank accounts of those kiriti awardees who have been hounoured for doing excellent work, while the remaining Kriti Awards and grants will also be announced by this week.

He said that the new issue of Hindi magazine Harigandha focuses on the topics of Hindi, achievements, utility and Information Technology. For this about two dozen writers from all over the world have contributed.

The spokesman said that a picture-gallery of Hindi literary writers has also been established in the Akademi building complex and in the same week, metal statues of three great litterateurs of Haryana Sant Surdas, Babu Balmukund Gupt and Pandit Lakhmi Chand will also be setup.

The spokesman said that three webinars and a virtual poet conference are also being organized in this Hindi Pakhwara. The statue of Babu Balmukund Gupt will be formally inaugurated this week.

He informed that the Akademi will also give impetus to the publication of excellent literature and in collaboration with other academies of the State and, a mobile exhibition-vehicle will be deputed for the sale of these publications.

Chandigarh, September 14 – Haryana Home & Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij said that Hindi language plays a significant role in weaving together the threads of Indian culture and civilization and also helps in preserving our traditions.

Mr. Vij shared these views on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. He said that Hindi language is our mother tongue as it infuses patriotic feelings in us. Therefore, we should promote Hindi language continuously. The Home Minister said that Hindi language while bringing us together also ensures that the country and the society progresses. Moreover, Hindi language is also a connecting bridge between ancient civilization and modern era.

Chandigarh, September 14: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Dushyant Chautala has congratulated the people of the state on the occasion of Hindi Diwas.

In a tweet, Mr Dushyant Chautala said “Hindi se Gaurav Hamara, Hindi hi Pehchan Hai, Hindi se Hum Hindiwasi, Hindi se Hindustan Hai”. ‘Jai Hind, Jai Hindi’.

In a statement issued here today after the tweet, Mr Dushyant Chautala said that as a result of the concerted efforts of several leaders including former Deputy Prime Minister, late Ch. Devi Lal Haryana was established as a Hindi-speaking state.

Chandigarh, September 14: Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has congratulated the people of the State on the occasion of ‘Hindi Diwas’ and said that on this day today we should take pledge to increase the use of Hindi in our daily lives and further enhance its prestige.

In a message issued here today on the occasion of Hindi Diwas, Mr Manohar Lal said that Hindi language is not only a means of expression of emotions and thoughts, but it also reminds us of our rich heritage.

The Chief Minister said that on this day in the year 1949, the Constituent Assembly accepted Hindi as the official language of the country in Devanagari script. Since then, Hindi is being widely accepted at international forums also. He said that former Prime Minister, late Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee also played a vital role in this direction. His address in Hindi in the United Nations General Assembly is still remembered today, he added.

Chandigarh, 14 September- The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, has invited online applications from the children, individuals, and institutions by September 15, 2020 for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar – 2021. The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar was established to honour the meritorious children, individuals, and institutions of the country. These awards are given under two categories – Bal Shakti Puraskar and Bal Kalyan Puraskar.

Chandigarh, September 14 – Haryana Minister of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Mr. J.P. Dalal has urged the bankers to dispose off the loan applications received on the Atmanirbhar Haryana portal on priority. The Atmanirbhar Haryana portal was launched by the state government for agriculture and related areas under Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.

Mr. Dalal urged to the bankers through video conferencing at a Sub-Committee meeting of the State Level Bankers Committee on various subjects in Chandigarh recently. He also called upon other leading banks in the districts, including the lead bank of the state, Punjab National Bank, to give priority to Pashu Kisan Credit Card, Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme, Mudra (Shishu), Differential Rate Interest (DRI), and MSME Revival Interest Benefit Scheme and to issue cards to maximum applicants.

He said that in view of the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi’s goal of doubling farmers’ income by the year 2022, Pashu Kisan Credit Card Scheme is being implemented on the lines of Kisan Credit Card so that farmers can boost their income from animal husbandry along with farming. This is an ambitious plan of the Atmanirbhar Bharat Campaign. Therefore, along with government, it is the responsibility of bankers as well to come forward in making this plan successful.

Chandigarh, September 14 – Haryana Chief Secretary, Mrs. Keshni Anand Arora has directed the officers to ensure 100 percent implementation of Business Reform Action Plan (BRAP) by September end. Besides this, the departments that are less than the State average point, were also directed to speed up their functioning within seven days.

Mrs. Keshni Anand Arora was presiding over the review meeting regarding progress of implementation of the District Business Reforms Action Plan (DBRAP) held here today. A total of 33 departments were reviewed in the meeting.

The Chief Secretary directed Public Works Department, Health, Education, Food and Supplies, Mining, Home, HSIIDC, Public Health Engineering, and Irrigation Departments to improve their progress.

Mrs. Arora also directed that all the concerned departments should work with mutual coordination for the business reform and ensure that all services are delivered online within the stipulated time frame. For this, all departments should notify their pending services under Right to Service Act.

She directed the Administrative Secretaries to personally review work to be done for the improvement action plan.

The State Business Reform Action Plan was also reviewed in the meeting. The Chief Secretary directed the officers concerned that the points that need improvement should be done within a period of seven days.

It was informed in the meeting that 213 points are to be implemented at the district-level and 301 points at state level under the Business Reform Action Plan of the Central Government.

It was informed that at the state level the compliance of Business Reform Action Plan is 62 percent and 52 percent at the district level.

Principal Secretary, Town and Country Planning Department, Mr.A.K. Singh and Senior officers were present in the meeting. Apart from this, the administrative secretaries of other departments attend the meeting through video conferencing.

Chandigarh, September 14 – Haryana Government has imposed a ban on gathering of devotees during Amavasya on September 17, 2020, at pilgrimage sites like Kurukshetra and Pehowa, due to the Corona pandemic.

Giving information in this regard an official spokesperson said that devotees usually congregate at Kurukshetra and Pehowa pilgrimage sites for pindaan of their forefathers on the occasion of Pitrapaksha. This time Amavasya is on September 17, 2020. Thus, to prevent the spread of the Corona pandemic, the Kurukshetra administration has imposed a complete ban on the gathering of devotees at both the said pilgrimage sites till the day of Amavasya. The devotees are hence appealed to take care of their own and other people’s health and refrain from gathering at Kurukshetra and Pehowa.
