Chandigarh, June 14 – In the Haryana state, patients suffering from Corona Virus have shown good recovery in last one week. 1523 patients have recovered in this period whereas 2797 new patients admitted in health facilities or home isolated in same period. Special focus is given on timely tracings of COVID positive cases and treatment thereof.

While stating this here today, Additional Chief Secretary, Health Mr Rajeev Arora said that the state government has also taken initiative to start calling the cases which are in home isolation to take feedback from them on various issues like availability of regular health services to them, whether following all the instruction given to them during home isolation, any difficult faced by them, any support required from the health department, whether they are taking medicines, wearing masks, sanitizing as per instructions etc. For calling these cases, services of Haryana Help line 1075 call centre are being utilized. Few calling agents are dedicated exclusively for calling these cases.

This calling to home isolation cases regarding their wellbeing through call centre 1075 will be continued. All home isolated cases are requested to stay at home in their designated room, not to come out, wear tipple layer masks, maintaining social distancing norms (2 Gaj ki Duri) at home and follow respiratory etiquettes, frequent hand hygiene and take all the medicines as advised and regularly update health department regarding their symptoms

By calling these cases not only feedback is taken from them but their issues are also being resolved. Further psychological counseling is being given by the calling agents to decrease their stress and anxiety related to COVID, which is the need of the day during COVID pandemic. Haryana Govt. has also tied up with ePsyclinic (A platform of experienced and qualified Psychologists) to give counseling related to mental health through call centre 1075 for next 3 months.

Calls related to Corona Virus, Telemedicine and Mental Health were received at call center. Total 149843 health Calls received at call center 1075 (121752 Corona related calls and 28091 Calls for telemedicine) have been offered. 1000 doctors of different specialization were made available for Tele Consultation through call center. Free health consultation services were also provided by doctors through eSanjeevaniOPD.in portal.
