Procurement crosses 1 lakh mark 128038 MT Paddy Procured.
Chandigarh, October 8:
The government agencies and private millers have procured 128038 metric tonnes of paddy from various mandis across the State till October 7.
Disclosing this, an official spokesman of the Government of Punjab informed that out of the total procurement, the government agencies procured 107413 MT of paddy while 20625 MT has been procured by the millers.
He said that PUNGRAIN has purchased 45504 metric tonnes, MARKFED 29743 tonnes and PUNSUP 19436 tonnes , Punjab State Warehousing Corporation purchased 12022 MT while FCI has purchased 708 MT paddy.
