Play ‘Everything She Wants: Amrita and Boris’

Chandigarh-16/12/16,Punjab Arts Council in collaboration with Andretta Arts Company presented the play ‘Everything She Wants: Amrita and Boris’ at Punjab Kala Bhawan on 16.12.2016 at 6.30 p.m.

The play has been written by Randhawa and Rob Wyn Jones, a Mumbai-based theatre and film artiste, directed by Katalin Ladik and performed by Randhawa and Jones.

“Boris Taslitzkyin was one of Amrita’s lovers and they were fellow students at Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris.

While the idea of directing a play on Amrita was conceived after copious visits to people who knew Amrita and later reading Tu Parles!, a book about Amrita’s life, it was only after meeting Gurvinder Singh, the director of films Anhe Ghode da Daan and Chauthi Koot in 2014, that Navjot finally started directing the play.

The Audience enjoyed the play very much and gave applause.
