Surveillance Drive in Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, 28th November, 2016: Today 2 fresh cases of Dengue have been reported and the total number of Dengue cases remained 868 in the city. 4 cases of Chikungunya have been reported today out of which all were from Chandigarh. The overall details of 278 cases of Chikungunya detected in Chandigarh is; 46 imported, 55 wrong address and 177 from Chandigarh.

To further strengthen the preventive activities, daily fumigation is being carried out alongwith strengthening of field activities which includes mass awareness, checking of breeding sources like coolers, containers, tyres and other sources.
