The Haryana government has decided to give two per cent Dearness Allowance (DA) to its employees on revised scales of pay with effect from July 1, 2016.

Chandigarh, Nov. 24 – The Haryana government has decided to give two per cent Dearness Allowance (DA) to its employees on revised scales of pay with effect from July 1, 2016.
While stating this today, Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu said that a proposal to this effect has been approved by the Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal.
He said that the installment of DA would be paid in cash to all state government employees on the pattern of Central Government. With this revision, the State exchequer would bear an additional burden of Rs 21.92 crore per month.
He said that the State Government has already implemented the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission for all its employees. The salary for the month of November paid in December 2016 would be given as per the revised pay scales, he added.
