Approval given to fill up 2517 post.

Chandigarh, Nov 17 – Haryana Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu said that the State Government has dedicated the Swarna Jayanti Varsh to youth, defence personnel and beneficiaries of social security pensions. Also, during this year, the main focus of the Finance Department would be on providing maximum employment opportunities to the youth.

While stating this here today, the Minister said that in November 2016, the Department has received proposal for filling up about 2,000 posts, which would soon be approved, whereas in October 2016, approval was given to fill up 2517 posts. Apart from this, the Department had given approval to fill up vacant posts in various departments through walk-in-interviews.

He said that approval was given to fill up a number of posts in different Departments. These included 1,581 posts in Home, 395 posts in Revenue, 381 posts in Industrial Training, 14 in Health, 38 in Sports and Youth Affairs, five in Transport, 67 in Technical Education and 36 posts in Medical Education Department.

He said that under the outsourcing policy, the departments can recruit people for one year, for which they need no approval from the Finance Department. He said that initiative has been taken to provide employment in private sector as well. He said that efforts were being made to implement the Memoranda of Understanding signed during the Happening Haryana Global Investor Summit, which would also generate employment opportunities for youth and strengthen the financial and industrial economy of the state. Taking further the Skill Development Mission of Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, the State Government has given approval for establishing Haryana Skill Development University named after Lord Vishwakarma to boost skill-based education system.
