Mumbai:14/11/16, Choosing the auspicious day of Guru Nanak Jayanti, Priyanka Chopra revealed the poster ofPunjabi film ‘Sarvann’ which she is co-producing with veteran producer VashuBhagnani.

‎Punjabi superstar Amrinder Gill also tweeted the poster of the film simultaneously to his huge fan base and is already getting an enthusiastic response.

‎Announcing the look of the film, Priyanka Chopra said, “Guru Nanak Jayanti is a great day for us to start a new journey in Punjabi cinema with our debut film production, Sarvann. This is a long cherished goal that is seeing fruition and we have many plans for the films promotion across the world. We’re very proud to work with such an amazing team to present this wonderful story. After the success of our Marathi venture, Ventilator, Purple Pebble Pictures is also very pleased to extend our collaborationwith Pooja Films for Sarvann.”

Amrinder Gill added, ‘It is time that Punjabi films get the recognition they deserve. With Sarvann we have such a beautiful collaboration with the biggest names in Bollywood with a movie that I believe audiences will thoroughly enjoy.’

Breaking language barriers and backing good stories is not new for either Priyanka Chopra or VashuBhagnani. After the Marathi hit ‘Ventilator’, Sarvann is the second project that the two production houses are collaborating on.

‎Producer and Marketing head of Pooja Films DeepshikhaDeshmukh added, ‘My father and I believe that good stories must be backed. Sarvann is one such film. It will be our endeavour to bring more such stories to newer audiences.’

Added director Karaan Guliani, ‘Produced by an all-women team of Priyanka Chopra, Dr. Madhu Chopra and DeepshikaDeshmukh, Sarvann is a coming-of-age story of a young man who discovers his true identity.’

Apart from the direction by Karaan Guliani, the movie stars Punjabi film amd music superstar Amrinder Gill, the rising Punjabi hit singer RanjitBawa, who is making his acting debut with Sarvann and Simi Chahal of Bambookat fame. The film is written by the popular and successful writer Amberdeep Singh with music composed by Jatinder Shah.
