Haryana Police have arrested three persons from Gurugram as they were involved in incidents of loot, dacoity and kidnapping

Chandigarh, Nov 9 – Haryana Police have arrested three persons from Gurugram as they were involved in incidents of loot, dacoity and kidnapping and two of them carry a reward of Rs 50,000 each as announced by Delhi Police. The Police recovered arms and ammunition and a stolen car from their possession.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Police Department said that acting on a tip off, a police team set up a checkpoint on village Dhanwapur-Rajendra Park road. The team tried to stop the stolen car in which the accused were travelling for checking as the vehicle did not have number plates. The accused were nabbed after the driver lost control of the vehicle during the chase.
He said that during interrogation, the accused, namely Shakti alias Sharda, a resident of village Kharhar Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar, Kushal alias Kimmy, a resident of Karnal and Gaurav, a resident of Matapuri Road, Panipat, revealed that they had stolen the car from Farrukhnagar area on September 4, 2016. On September 27, along with another accomplice, they had kidnapped Akash and Vikas from Punjab. However, the fourth accomplice namely Deepak alias Bhanda,a resident of Sampla, Rohtak, was shot and arrested during a confrontation between the accused and Gurugram Police in Sampla, Rohtak.
He said that it was revealed during investigation that Shakti and Kushal were wanted in four cases of murder and were carrying reward of Rs 50,000 each. It was also found that all accused had committed several acts of kidnapping, loot and dacoity in Delhi, Gurugram, Rohtak and Jhajjar areas.
He said that a pistol, a revolver and nine live cartridges were recovered from the possession of Shakti, and two pistols and six live cartridges were recovered from Kushal. The key of the stolen vehicle was recovered from the possession of Gaurav. The accused could not produce licences for the arms recovered from them. A case has been registered at Rajendra Park Police Station, Gurugram, he added.
