7 cases of Dengue have been reported in Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, 7th Nov, 2016: 7 cases of Dengue have been reported from various health institutions (till the release of press note) which brings the total number of Dengue cases to 802 in the city. 5 cases of Chikungunya have been reported today out of which all are from Chandigarh. The overall details of 213 cases of Chikungunya detected in Chandigarh is; 45 imported, 53 wrong address and 115 from Chandigarh.
To further strengthen the preventive activities, daily fumigation is being carried out alongwith strengthening of field activities which includes mass awareness, checking of breeding sources like coolers, containers, tyres and other sources.
