Haryana Swarna Jayanti celebrations in a befitting manner on November 1

1. With a view to organize the mega event of inaugural function of Haryana Swarna Jayanti celebrations in a befitting manner on November 1, the Haryana Government has got done photography of prominent areas of Gurugram through drone mapping to review the arrangements being made and check security measures.
2. Haryana Government has issued transfer and posting orders of nine IAS officers and four HCS officers with immediate effect.
3. Haryana Government has enhanced the ex gratia grant being given to family members of police personnel who die in the line of duty from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 30 lakh.
4. Haryana Government has ordered that O.P. Singh, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Hisar Range, Hisar would also be IGP, Modernisation with his additional charge, against vacancy.
5. Haryana Cabinet will meet under chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal at Committee Room, 4th Floor, Haryana Civil Secretariat on October 25, 2016 at 11.00 A.M.
6. The Haryana Government has decided that all those persons and their spouses, who have been identified as sufferers during the emergency imposed by the Congress government, would get the facility of reimbursement of their medical claims on the pattern of employees of the State Government.
7. Haryana Government has decided to illuminate all government office and heritage buildings of the State from ‘sunset to sunrise’ for two weeks from October 24 to November 7, 2016 in view of Swarna Jayanti Celebrations of the State.
8. The Union Minister of Human Resource Development Mr Prakash Javadekar said that effective steps are being taken to provide quality education to the youth in the country.
9. Haryana Government has formulated its new Road Safety Policy. With 2015 as the base year, the policy aims at bringing down the rate of deaths and injured in road accidents upto 50 per cent by the year 2025.
10. Ankur Gupta, Chief Electoral Officer and Principal Secretary, Elections Department, Haryana has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Renewable Energy Department against a vacant post.
11. Haryana Director General of Police (DGP), Dr. K.P. Singh today honoured two head constables of Haryana Commando Police namely Mr. Khushi Ram and Mr. Rakesh Kumar for their exemplary courage in saving the life of a young woman who had jumped in Sukhna Lake here on October 17.
12. Women and Child Development Department, Haryana has completed Aadhaar linkage of 22 lakh children of 0-5 years and aadhaar linkage of remaining about two lakh children would also be undertaken.

15. The present Haryana Government has, during its first two years, taken several path breaking initiatives to ensure transparency and expedite the process for grant of Change of Land Use (CLU) in the State.
16. Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has approved Rs 25 crore each for construction of two 2-lane Road Over Bridges (RoBs) in districts Hisar and Fatehabad.
17. Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has widen the scope of policy guidelines for allotment of plots in specialized markets like transport nagar, auto markets, wood or timber, iron or steel shops developed by it in the state.
18. Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) has invited applications from land owners, whose land was acquired to develop sectors in Panchkula for allotment of plots under its latest Oustees policy.
