Haryana Government has enhanced the ex gratia grant being given to family members of police personnel who die in the line of duty from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 30 lakh

Chandigarh, Oct 21 – Haryana Government has enhanced the ex gratia grant being given to family members of police personnel who die in the line of duty from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 30 lakh. Besides, the accidental insurance cover of Rs 25 lakh being given to police personnel through HDFC Bank has also been increased to Rs 30 lakh.
The Director General of Police (DGP), Dr. K.P. Singh, who was speaking at the state-level Police ‘Smriti Parade’ at Panchkula, near here, today, said that Haryana Police was fully prepared to tackle criminal elements.
He also paid glowing tributes to martyr constable Raj Singh of Haryana Police and other martyrs of Police and Paramilitary Forces.
