Haryana Granth Akademi would publish 50 new books in the Swarna Jayanti year of the State.

Chandigarh, Oct 7 – Haryana Granth Akademi would publish 50 new books in the Swarna Jayanti Year of the State from November 1, 2016 to October 31, 2017 and has a plan for digitization of books.
This was stated by Deputy Chairman, Haryana Granth Akademi, Mr. Virender Singh Chauhan, who was speaking in a meeting with distinguished educationists and scientists at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU), Hisar today.
He said that the Central and State Governments were committed towards the promotion of Hindi and other Indian languages and concrete steps were being taken in this direction.
Convenor, Publication Committee, CCSHAU, Dr. Neelam Khetarpaul, said that six Hindi language publications of the University would be dedicated to the people in the Golden Jubilee Year. Two books on recommendations related to Kharif and Rabi crops and one book each on Home Science and vegetables would be published. A book comprising achievements of the University from its inception till date would also be published in Hindi and English and a scheme would be prepared to publish a dictionary of words related to agricultural science.
