Haryana Police has dismissed four of its personnel for taking bribe.

Chandigarh, Sept 13- The Haryana Police has dismissed four of its personnel, who after taking a bribe, released the accused involved in the case of heroin in district Sirsa.
While stating this today, a spokesman of the Police Department said that a FIR was registered against these police personnel at Police Station City, Fatehabad on September 4 under Prevention of Corruption Act, The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and for releasing criminals from police custody. They included Assistant Sub Inspector (ASA) Mandeep Singh and Hawaldar Dheeraj kumar Posted at Police Station, Odha, Head Constable Krishan Kumar posted at City Police Station, Sirsa, Constable Parveen Kumar poated at Police Station, Ding.
He said that these four police personnel had maligned the image of the Police Department. It was soon after getting the report that the Superintendent of Police, Mr Satinder Gupta ordered their dismissal.
