Haryana Police has arrested 33 gambler and recovered about Rs 1.77 lakh

Chandigarh, September 2 – Haryana Police has arrested 33 persons, including those operating casinos using computers and those who were gambling, from Gurgaon, and recovered about Rs 1.77 lakh from their possession.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Police Department said that Police had received information that casinos were being operated using computers at many places in Gurgaon city without any license or permit. According to the information, hundreds of persons were indulging in this illegal activity.
He said that police teams raided various places and arrested the persons operating casinos and those gambling at these places.
He said that computers being used for gambling were also recovered and cases have been registered against all 33 accused.
