Mining mafia flourished between the year 1991-96 during Congress regime in the state.

CHANDIGARH, August 31- The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal said that mining mafia flourished between the year 1991-96 during Congress regime in the state. Similarly, Liquor mafia thrived between 1996 and 1999 during the regime of Haryana Vikas Party. He said that recruitment scams were reported during INLD government from 1999 to 2005 and land, CLU mafia flourished during ten years rule of the Congress from 2005 to 2014 which are being investigated by the CBI and Commission.
The Chief Minister was replying to a calling attention notice during Monsoon Session in the Vidhan Sabha here today.
He said that the present government during its 22 months tenure is working to put all issues on right track as such kind of irregularities had caused a huge loss to the State. “It is our collective responsibility to provide good governance to the people in the state”, he added.
