PANCHKULA, August 22- Recently setup Bhagat Singh School of Learning, Panchkula organized its first formal serious of lectures on patriotism and national awareness, last evening at Red Bishop Tourist Complex, Panchkula. In his inaugural address former DGP of Haryana V.N.Rai while admiring the efforts of Bhagat Singh School of Learning said that this unique school would certainly help in guiding the present-day directionless youth to come out of the morass of despondency and sense of frustration prevailing in them. Mr. Rai further said that channelizing their boundless energy towards the cause of nation building was need of the hour. He said that countless countrymen specially youth laid down their life for the emancipation of India from the British slavery. It is our moral duty to remember them and guide the modern youth to follow the ideals of those patriots and revolutionaries.
Former ADGP, Haryana V.K. Kapoor, who is also a member of State Level Legal Services Authority of Chandigarh and veteran journalist Gobind Thukral lauded the efforts of Bhagat Singh School of Learning for awakening the youth for Nation Building and apprise them to fritter away their energies in unproductive activities.
Founder Chairmen of the said School and also illustrious author of over two dozen books on the revolutionaries and patriots of India, Dr. M.M. Juneja, detailing the objective of the School said that this institute has been conceived on the patron of National College Lahore, founded by Lala Lajpat Rai in 1921. Mr. Juneja said that this college was rightly known as the Nursery of Nationalists, where Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Bhagwati Charan Vohra and Yashpal etc. were initiated and educated for the freedom movement.
In the concluding session there were many queries from the audition which were answered by the main speaker. Arun Johar, who is the general Secretary of the School, presented a vote of thanks.
