Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has caught red handed 15 officers and officials while taking illegal gratification.
Chandigarh August 4: Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has caught red handed 15 officers and officials while taking illegal gratification ranging from Rs 1500 to Rs 32,000 recently. The Bureau has also recommended departmental action against a Non-gazetted officer.
While giving this information here today, a spokesman of the Bureau said that Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Jagbir Singh posted at Police Post, Azad Nagar, Hisar was caught while taking bribe of Rs 8000 whereas Anil Kumar, Reader Tehsildar, Nagina in district Mewat was caught while accepting illegal gratification of Rs 10,000.
He said that similarly, Satbir Singh, Kanoongo, Sushil Kumar, Patwari and Manoj Kumar, Computer Operator, all three posted in the office of Tehsil Panipat were caught while taking bribe of Rs 11,000. He said that Ram Parshad Saini, Junior Engineer of Dakshin Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (DHVPNL), Ferozepur Zirka, district Mewat was caught while accepting illegal gratification of Rs 5000 whereas, Balkesh Singh, Inspector and Angrez Singh, Sub-Inspector of Food and Supplies Department, Matlauda, district Panipat were caught while taking bribe of Rs 32,000. Likewise, Vikas, resident of Gudha, Tehsil and district Jhajjar and Mohit of Lal Chand Colony, Jhajjar were caught taking bribe of Rs 1500.
The spokesman said that Ashwani, Forest Guard posted at Alewa Beat, district Jind was caught while accepting illegal gratification of Rs 4000 whereas, ASI, Prem Chand posted at Women Police Station, Panchkula was caught while taking bribe of Rs 2500, Suresh Kumar, Principal, Government Industrial Training Institute, Barwala, district Hisar was caught for taking bribe of Rs 3000, Rupender Singh, Forest Guard posted at Beat Kutail, district Karnal and Sandeep Kumar, Clerk, Municipal Committee, Kalayat, district Kaithal was also caught while taking bribe of Rs 4000 each.
