Monsoon Activity in DC Model School.

PANCHKULA-20/7/16,In the monsoon drizzle to make the students aware of the rainy season in an innovative way, Monsoon Activity was conducted for the students of Pre primary wing of DC Model Sr. Sec School .This activity focused on bringing out the concept of monsoon season to the students. The activity was a blend of the concepts taught in the classroom with practical experiences by letting the students enjoy the drawings of rainbow, lightning, umbrellas, puddles and paper boat in the class. The students of nursery class enthusiastically participated in the activity by leaving their color smeared hand impressions on a sheet to make a colorful rainbow. The colorful hand impression of the elated kids created a vibrant rainbow. On the other hand the students of Prep 1 explored their imagination and created marvelous paintings using cotton dabs to form clouds in their paintings. The children thoroughly enjoyed the activity. The rain songs, rhymes and poems recited by the children on the occasion added excitement in the activity .The school Principal Smt Usha Gupta, coordinators Mrs . Deepika Bhardwaj and Mrs.Sarika Malik appreciated students’ efforts and congratulated them.
