Panchkula Municipal Corporation has authorised eight banks for deposit of property tax.

PANCHKULA- July 18 – With a view to facilitate the people for easy deposit of their property tax in Panchkula, Kalka and Pinjore, the Panchkula Municipal Corporation has authorised eight banks for this purpose.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that rebate of 10 per cent would be allowed to those who deposit the property tax on the basis of self-assessment by July 31, 2016.
He said that the banks authorised to receive property tax in Panchkula included Indusind Bank, Sector 11, IDBI Bank, Sector 11 and 20 , IDBI Bank, Sector 5, MDC, Central Bank of India, Sector 10 and Indian Overseas Bank, Sector 9.
He said that Indian Overseas Bank at Pinjore and Central Bank of India, Kalka have also been authorized for the same purpose. A public notice to this effect has also been issued by the Municipal Corporation, Panchkula, he added.
