Panchkula-, June 18 – With a view to facilitate patients and ensure proper diagnosis and follow-up schedule, Government Hospital, Sector 6, Panchkula would now conduct 29 additional hormonal laboratory investigations.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that approval to this effect has been given by Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal.
He said that the new tests included those for LH.FSH, Pralactin assay, FT3, FT4, Estradiol, Progesterone, Testosterone, Total HCG, AFP, CEA, PSA, Troponine-1, Serum ferritin, Vit-B12 and Folic acid.
He said that tests for CA-125, CPK-MB, Homocyateine, Microalbuminuria, HbAIC, TPO, G-6-PD, LDH, Lipase, Serum lithium, ToRCH complex, Vit-D, PTH and HPLC for drug monitoring (Phenytoin) would also be conducted at the hospital.
He said that investigations would be provided free to certain categories of patients, including those Below Poverty Line and Urban Slum patients of Haryana, patients receiving Handicap Allowance from Haryana Government, poor patients who do not belong to any free category and patients belonging to Scheduled Castes categories of Haryana. Similarly, free investigations would be provided to patients belonging to Economically Weaker Sections of Haryana as per the Haryana Government Reservations Policy, unattended victims of road accidents and Haryana Government employees, pensioners and dependents.
