Chandigarh, June 1st, 2016: On occasion of Global Day of Parents, the District Legal Services Authorities, U.T., Chandigarh under the Chairmanship of Sh Balbir singh, District & Sessions Judge, U.T., Chandigarh organized awareness camp at Old Age Home, Sector 43, Chandigarh. Sh. Amarinder Sharma, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, U.T., Chandigarh along with Sh Gautam Bhardwaj, Advocate addressed the inmates on various schemes and legal awareness topics including provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act,2007. He said that the most beautiful thing is to see the parents smiling and to know that you are the reason behind that smile as behind every good kid are the parents, who understand the importance of raising them that way. The inmates shared their experiences in free interactive session.
