The Prakash Singh Inquiry Committee will visit Kaithal and Jind on March 28.
Chandigarh, March 25 – The Prakash Singh Inquiry Committee appointed by Haryana Government to inquire into the acts of omission and commission on the part of officers and officials of both police and civil administration during February 7 to 22, 2016 in the reservation agitation resulting in blockade of roads including National Highways and loss of life and property, shall visit Kaithal and Jind on March 28.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Committee said that the Committee would visit affected areas and interact with officers of the District Administration, meet people of different sections of the society and seek information about the role of officers in the agitation.
He said that as per the schedule of the Committee, it would visit the affected areas of Safidon, Pilukhera and Jind city in district Jind from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and hold meeting with different sections of the society of Jind at PWD Rest House, Jind from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
He said that the Committee would also hold meeting with officers of Civil and Police administration of district Jind at PWD Rest House, Jind from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. It would visit affected areas of Kalayat and Kaithal city in district Kaithal from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and hold meeting with different sections of society of district Kaithal from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
He said that the same day, the Committee would also hold meeting with officers of civil and Police administration of district Kaithal at PWD Rest House, Kaithal from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
