Killing of Neel Gai allowed by the Central Government in Bihar.

Chandigarh, March 17 – Haryana Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh said that there is a provision of Railway Over Bridges (ROB) and Railway Under Bridges (RUB) on such railway crossings where one lakh vehicles cross daily. These bridges could even be constructed on railway crossings which have less traffic.
Rao Narbir was replying to a question raised about construction of RUB or ROB on railway crossing in Uklana during the ongoing session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha here today.
He said that no such proposal is under consideration by the state government because in Uklana, the number of vehicles is about 56,000 to 57,000. However, as the Chief Minister had announced, RUB would be constructed at railway crossing in Uklana in the ensuing financial year. This work would be completed on priority basis.
In reply to a question raised about killing of Neel Gai allowed by the Central Government in Biha killing of Neel Gai allowed by the Central Government in Bihar to deal with the problems of Neel Gai,he said that the state government has authorized Divisional Forest Officers to issue permit for killing Neel Gai on receiving proposal from Panchayat concerned. As many as 42 permits have been issued in the last eight years.
