Jayant Chowdhary says: Smriti Irani has lost her humanity

A couple of days after the children of a doctor killed in an accident on the Yamuna Expressway contradicted Education Minister Smriti Irani’s claim that she had tried to help the injured, the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) has criticised her.RLD general secretary and former Mathura MP Jayant Chowdhary said that Smriti Irani has lost her humanity. He said, “Leaving Ramesh Nagar dying on the expressway, when she was fully capable of helping him, indicates that Irani was more concerned about her personal wellbeing, than the people of this country. She did not even stop at the next toll plaza to send back help for the injured family and went on straight to Delhi, showing how callous her attitude is towards the common man.”
