Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has registered one enquiry relating to allegedly making use of substandard material for the construction of road from Sector- 21 to Sector -27, Panchkula.

Panchkula, March 10- Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has registered one enquiry against one Superintendent Engineer, one Sub Divisional Officer and Executive Engineer and one Junior Engineer to investigate the issue relating to allegedly making use of substandard material for the construction of road from Sector- 21 to Sector -27, Panchkula. This enquiry has been registered in the period between February 26, 2016 to March 2, 2016.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Bureau said that during this period, the Bureau conducted one raid and caught red handed Assistant Sub Inspector, Karamvir Singh, Police Post Multani, Hisar while taking illegal gratification of Rs 10,000.
During this period, one was convicted in a criminal case, in which one non-gazetted officer related to Small Scale Industries Department was caught by the Bureau and was sentenced to rigorous imprisonment under section 7 and 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
