Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, has approved the release of funds amounting to about Rs 12 crore to various Urban Local Bodies

Chandigarh, February 1 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, has approved the release of funds amounting to about Rs 12 crore to various Urban Local Bodies for development works in Charkhi Dadri, Bhiwani, Indri and Sirsa for the year 2015-16.

        While stating this today, Urban Local Bodies Minister, Mrs. Kavita Jain said that as per the announcement made by the Chief Minister on February 27, 2015, funds amounting to Rs 2.37 crore have been released to Municipal Council, Charkhi Dadri, about Rs 7.99 crore to Municipal Council Bhiwani, Rs 79 lakh  to Municipal Committee, Indri and about Rs 84.77 lakh  to Municipal Council Sirsa.

        The Minister said that apart from this,  about Rs 557.70 crore have already been released to various Urban Local Bodies during the current financial year. Budget provision of Rs 826.47 crore had been made for this purpose during the current financial year, she added.
