Haryana Renewable Energy Department has decided to provide 105 solar power plants of one kilowatt
Chandigarh, November 25- Haryana Renewable Energy Department has decided to provide 105 solar power plants of one kilowatt each with battery backup at subsidized cost to the rural as well as urban households at a cost of over Rs 1.41 crore during the current financial year.
While giving this information today, Minister of State for Mines and Geology and Renewable Energy, Mr Nayab Singh Saini said that along with battery of one kilowatt each, five solar power plants would be provided in each district. He said that the plant which cost over Rs. 1.34 lakh each would be provided to the identified households on subsidized cost through the office of Additional Deputy Commissioners.
He said that one kilowatt solar power plant could operate one TV, four ceiling fans, five tube lights and six CFLs with six hours.
