Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum will hear complaints

Chandigarh, November 5 – As per the guidelines of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF) of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam has scheduled a meeting at Vidyut Sadan, Vidyut Nagar, Hisar at 11 a.m. on November 6, 2015 for hearing the complaints of consumers.

        Giving details about this meeting, a spokesman of the Nigam said that the CGRF would redress grievances or complaints regarding billing, voltage, problems related to meters, disconnection and reconnection of power supply, interruptions, failure of power supply, efficiency, safety, reliability, non-compliance of the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission orders, etc. However, cases of theft and unauthorised use of electricity, accidents and inquiry related cases would not be considered.

        He said that consumers expected to attend the meeting should ensure that no case in any court on a similar matter is pending. The consumer will be required to submit the complaint with full details, along with a duly attested affidavit. The complainant will not be charged any fee.
