Punjab farmers threatened ‘Rail-Roko’ on 7&8 oct.
Chandigarh-Oct.The eight ‘anti government’ farmer union have threatened to intensify their agitation and go on ‘Rail-Roko’ movement far 7&8 Oct,As their talk with Punjab govt failed to reach on any understanding.The farmers are staging protest in Bhatinda since September 17.Farmers are also on dharna out side the offices of deputy commissioners since 28 September,demanding higher compensation for the loss of their ctton crop and higer return for the basmati.
