Chandigarh 17 September, 2015:  Department of Cultural Affairs, Chandigarh Administration is ready to augment the classical music, and provide a Cultural soul to city beautiful again. “Naad Vatika” Culture in the Parks show will be graced on 19.09.2015 with the august presence of famous classical vocal   singer Smt.  Mahua mukherji at Rose Garden ,sector 16 Chandigarh at  5:30 Pm

 Smt. Mahua Mukherji has performed in various prestigious concerts including “Bharotio Nadonik Parishod” which is state government organization. Most notably, she is a regular performer of ALL INDIA RADIO as well as an empanelled artist of “Indian Council  for Cultural Relations” (ICCR).She was awarded with “Sangeet Prabhakar” and “Sangeet  Visharad” , from Prachin  Kala Kendra. She was honored by the King of Hyderabad Nizam Raja and was invited to perform in his palace. Her mellifluous and resonant voice made her successful in India as well as abroad. Currently Mahuya is the director of the music department of  ‘Kalpataru Arts’ academy New Delhi.  In India she performed in  All India Radio, Hyderabad ( Sangeet Mahal, Thyag Raja Festival )“Swaranjali Sur Sandhya”, Indian Habitat Center, New Delhi“Sangeetika”, Shri Ram Centre, New Delhi “Neheru Children Museum” , Kolkata “NAINA DEVI  Festival”,  Nainital “All India Integration Camp” in Nainital & New Delhi “Youth Festival 2005” on behalf of Rabindra  Bharati University. In ABROAD mahua perform at “Festival Internazionale OSA la Danze” (“International Dance Festival”), Ascona, Switzerland.“Cenrtro Di Formazione Musicale”, Barasso, Italy.

A tour organised by “Culturall”- an Indian cultural organization, in the major cities of Switzerland, like Thun, Lausanne, Luzern, Winterthur, Basel, Kreuzlingen“Centre Loisirs Et Culture”, Martingny, Germany. Comune di Sesto Calende, Provincia di Varese, Italy. Comune di Cassano Valcuvia,Varese, Italy.  “Offene Kirche Elisabethen”, Basel, Switzerland L’eglise Ste-Marie, Mulhouse, France“Deutsch-Indische Gesellschaft” (DIG), Mainz, Germany. „Infinite Gratitude“ – a tour which purpose was to spread the Indian classical music in various cities of Romania, like Iasi, Campulung, Bistrita, Cluj, Bucharest.Namaste India“ Festival, Romania, Bucharest,  where she presented, for the first time in Romania, the khyal style, being awarded a Certificate of Recognition for spreading the Indian culture overseas
