Chandigarh, September 17– Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has recommended two new investigations from September 4, 2015 to September 10, 2015 against one Superintendent and one Inspector on the charges of having disproportionate wealth
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Bureau said that during this period, one investigation was completed and thbureau recommended registering a case against one non-gazetted officer and one other person. The Bureau also carried out three raids and caught red-handed three non-gazetted officers and one other person while taking bribe ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 30,000. Separate cases had been registered against the accused under Section 7 and 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act at Bureau’s Police Station.
He said that in its raids the Bureau has caught red handed Daya Kishan Sharma, Food Security Officer, Gurgaon and Puran Khanna (middle man) resident of Delhi while accepting bribe of Rs 30,000, Chand Ram, Multi Purpose Health Supervisor, Community Health Centre, Julana, Jind for accepting bribe of Rs 1,500 and Sehdev, Patwari, Halka Ballabhgarh, Faridabad for taking illegal gratification of Rs 1,000.
