DC MODEL ORGANISES FETE- TEMPTATION, 2016, FOR A NOBLE CAUSE.

Panchkula 16 Oct,. DC. Model Sr. Sec. School, Sector7, Panchkula wore a festive look to herald the festivities of Diwali. The school held “TEMPTATION 2016” its Annual fete on 15th October. This was to channelize the temptations of the children towards the noble cause of charity as all the profits would be forwarded to SDHA (Society for Disowned Humans and Animals). The sunny morning attracted everyone to the venue where both students and teachers left no stone unturned to make the School Fete a grand success. The fete gained its momentum from the word ‘go’. The students turned in large number and had a great time as the fete had all the fun games & food stalls, managed by the students of class 10 to inculcate in them the spirit of earning for charity and fun. The event had all the ingredients full of entertainment with delicacies to satisfy their taste buds, games to tickle their hunger for enjoyment. Besides this the major attractions were the Mehndi , Thali Decoration and Salad Dressing especially held for the parents where they got the opportunity to showcase their innate skills. It had tempting stalls of Woollen suits, state of art jewellery, bangles, tattoos, nail art, computer games & much more. The added attraction was for the Personality Test where the students vied to come into the limelight by focusing on different tests to portray their personality. Dance enthusiasts tapped their feet on the beats of DJ and on & on. The Director of DCM Group of schools Mr. B.B. Gupta formally inaugurated the fete in the morning and advised the students to have fun but always keep in mind that they should help needy and disowned people in the society as real happiness lies in charity. The students enjoyed the day to the fullest and felt proud to be a part of this noble event.
