Audio Visual Presentation: OBSERVATIONS About the Serendipity Arts Festival, Goa 2019 By the National Travel Grant recipients Given by Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi.

In its efforts to encourage and provide platform to young and upcoming artists, Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi is organising an Audio Visual Presentation : OBSERVATIONS about the experiences of 9 students of visual arts who travelled to Serendipity Arts Festival held at Goa in December 2019 on the National Travel Grant given by Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi.

Nine visual art students were selected from various places of Punjab and given Rs.15,000/- each to explore and interact with other artists, curators and volunteers at the prestigious event in its 4th edition.

The grant is an initiative of the PLKA to generate understanding of contemporary art practice among students to travel and witness the creatively charged environment and ambience of mega art events organised in various parts of the country such as Serendipity Arts Festival, Goa, and India Art Fair, New Delhi.

During this presentation each student will explain briefly about their favourite artworks and other aspects of the festival. They will also be holding a brief interactive session with the audience at the end of their presentation.

The participating art students are:

Chitwan Kaur, Ramneet Kaur, Balkaran Singh, Jashandeep Kaur, Harman Singh Virdi, Kulwinder Singh, Piyush, Manpreet Singh and Simran Yagyik.
