Capt Amarinder Singh calls on Cultural Affairs Department to set up a statue of General Allard in Amritsar.

Punjab Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh today described the horse riding of Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Sher-E-Punjab Directorate of Tourism and Cultural Affairs directed to set up a statue of ‘Army-E-Khas’ head Francaise Allard in Amritsar. Nepalese.
The Chief Minister gave these instructions during a meeting with a delegation led by Henry Prevost Allard, General Francose Allard’s family of Saint-Tropez Deputy Mayor. It is to be believed that Henry Allard is the fourth victim of General Allard.
The Chief Minister said that this initiative would help the youth to know about the gallantry of Allard’s gallantry. He said that this statue will be a tribute to the great military strategist and the love between France and India as well as between Saint-Tropez and Punjab will strengthen the bonds of love.
The delegation invited the Chief Minister to join the annual troupe for the rich heritage of Indo-French military history at Saint-Tropez in June next year, as a special guest. Capt Amarinder Singh thanked the delegation for this call and expressed his inability to join because of the busy Lok Sabha elections due to the busyness of the elections.
Responding to the delegation’s appeal, Capt Amarinder Singh agreed to attend the ceremonial announcement of the Annual Function to be held in Delhi in December this year.
The Chief Minister presented the book “The Last Sunset” to the delegation. This book is based on the incidents of volatile addition of Sikh kingdom and incidents of the exile of Anglo-Sikh wars and of Mahārājā Duleep Si ਹੈgh. He also asked the delegation to educate the youth of France in this matter about how the generals of Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s generosity were made by General Allard for his bravery and contribution. With which the creation of the vast Sikh kingdom becomes possible.
It is to be mentioned that in the year 2016, statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh was installed at Saint-Tropez, the birthplace of General Allard, to promote harmony, affection and friendly feelings on both sides.
On this occasion the Chief Minister was accompanied by his Media Advisor Ravne Thukral and Principal Secretary Tejbir Singh.
