Chandigarh, November 27: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal paid obeisance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine and prayed for the progress and prosperity of the country and the people of the state. Karnal MP Sh. Sanjay Bhatia was also present on the occasion.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that he was fortunate to get the opportunity to visit Shri Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. “I have prayed that the path of development of the people of our country is paved, everyone’s work progress uninterrupted and there should be welfare of all human beings, ” he added. The Chief Minister said that he has an old association with Jammu as he had worked for the organisation here for three years.
Haryana will sign MoU with Jammu and Kashmir government in IT sector
Sh. Manohar Lal said that Haryana has not only facilitated the delivery of citizen-centric services by using information technology (IT), but has ensured that the services reach the eligible beneficiaries by bringing transparency in it. Not only this, the government work has also been expedited by using information technology.
He said that Haryana has made its own identity in the country in terms of use of IT. “The Jammu and Kashmir government has also liked the new IT experiments of the Haryana government. The Haryana government will cooperate with the Jammu and Kashmir government to implement such experiments here. In this direction, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will also be signed with the Jammu and Kashmir government in the IT sector,” he asserted.
Sh. Manohar Lal said that before the abrogation of Article 370, there were issues of fighting terrorism and civil security in Jammu and Kashmir. “Today this state is marching ahead on the path of development after coming out of terrorism. Jammu and Kashmir is moving in the direction of IT and Ease of Living,” he added.
CM listens to Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme in Katra
Taking out time from the busy schedule, the Chief Minister listened to Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme at Katra itself. Regarding the message given by the Prime Minister during the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme on the importance of education, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the Prime Minister has called upon the people of the country to illuminate the entire society on the basis of their knowledge. “I have full faith that this initiative of his will inspire every person to work for the golden future of the country,” he added.

Chandigarh, November 27 – As the International Gita Mahotsav gets going more than 50 lakh people from the country and abroad get connected with it through the website, Facebook page and Instagram social media of the Mahotsav. For this festival, the website, Instagram, Facebook, Facebook pages were prepared by the administration for the International Gita Mahotsav-2022. To connect the people of the country and the world through social media links, a team is engaged to design and to undertake updation of this festival. The initiative has turned fruitful and the International Gita Mahotsav could reach lakhs of people through social media.
An official spokesperson said that a website was prepared for the International Gita Mahotsav-2022 with the efforts of Kurukshetra Development Board and NIC and other associated departments. Along with this, preparations had already been made to use social media mediums like Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter. A team was assigned the responsibility to upload the programmes on these social media with contemporary and attractive designs. This team is dedicatedly working day and night. He said that the events of the International Gita Mahotsav started from November 1 with an online Gita quiz and the second event took place on November 18 in the form of Gita Run. Along with all these events, ‘Shilps’ and Saras Mela will continue from November 19 to December 6. Along with these programmes Gita Yagya Pujan, International Gita Seminar, Sant Sammelan, Global Gita Lesson, Evening Cultural Program, Maha Aarti, Deepotsav are to be organised from November 29, 2022 to December 4, 2022.
The spokesman said that various social media websites are being used to connect the people of the country and abroad with all these programmes. So far, more than 50 lakh people from India and abroad have joined the International Gita Mahotsav.
The spokesperson further said that 1.22 lakh views and 6.61 lakh hits have come from India on the website of International Gita Mahotsav. Similarly, 21,751 views and 1.27 lakh hits from USA, 3,768 views and 26,826 hits from Canada, 2,308 views and 2,308 hits from Poland, 641 views and 664 hits from Russia, 384 views and 1,208 hits from Australia, 331 views from UK and 946 hits, 355 views and 2,341 hits from Japan and 166 views and 1,041 hits from Indonesia have come on the website of the festival.
