Haryana Police has solved the case in which 472 bags of paddy amounting to about Rs eight lakh.
Chandigarh, Dec 18 – Haryana Police has solved the case in which 472 bags of paddy amounting to about Rs eight lakh were damaged in Sirsa and arrested two accused involved in the incident besides recovering a truck from their possession.
While stating this today, a spokesman of the Police Department said that recently on November 19, a truck from Sirsa city loaded with 472 bags of paddy was on its way to Dhuri of Punjab. When the truck did not reached its destination, the firm concerned got registered a case against the truck driver and conductor. Acting swiftly, the police nabbed the accused, who have been identified as Gurpal Singh and Harpal Singh, residents of Punjab.
He said that the accused would be produced in the court and taken on remand to know about other accused involved in the incident so that action could be initiated against them.
