Special session being organized at Timber Trail in Himachal Pradesh from December 15 to 17.
Chandigarh, Dec 13–The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has said that a special session being organized at Timber Trail in Himachal Pradesh from December 15 to 17 would prepare a blueprint of new Haryana through deliberations on issues of development. The development works on hand and other schemes would also come up for a review at the session.
The Chief Minister, who was addressing a press conference in Bhiwani today, said that brainstorming sessions were organised by the government and the party from time to time to come up with new ideas to pace up development of the state. The government is quite serious about development and bringing investment to the state and he had addressed two sessions and 13 meetings for the purpose during the 48-hour visit to Dubai.
The Chief Minister said out of the about 3,700 announcements made by him, as many as 2,750 announcements had either been executed or were under process, and work on the remaining announcements was being taken up.
“I visited the entire state in three phases to ensure all-round development. In the first phase, meetings were held at the district headquarters in 2014. Thereafter, public meetings were held at the Assembly segment level in the second phase where numerous development schemes and projects were announced. Now, I am redressing the grievances of people by organising Janta Darbars during my two-day visit to every district in the state”, the Chief Minister said.
At the same time, interaction is also being held with office-bearers of the party, public representatives, members of the monitoring committees and media persons. “I have covered 21 districts so far and similar programmes would be organized in Kurukshetra in the last week of this month”, the Chief Minister added.
In reply to a question, Mr Manohar Lal said process for setting up a medical college in Bhiwani had been set rolling and a detailed project report was being prepared. Similarly, a government girls’ school is also in the works. A park would be developed on Dadri road after setting a solid waste management plant is set up.
Describing the criminal incidents happening in some parts of the state as unfortunate, he said that a Special Inspection Team had been constituted to nab the culprits involved in the rape and killing of a six-year-old girl. It is working on some clues.
Earlier, the Chief Minister held a meeting with office-bearers of the party, public representatives, members of monitoring committees and party workers. Those present included MLAs Mr Ghanshyam Saraf and Mr Bishamber Balmiki, Chairman, Livestock Development Board, Mr Rishi Parkash Sharma, and other prominent persons.
