Haryana Police has launched Online Anchor Talent Hunt Contest for school students.

Chandigarh, Dec 8 – Haryana Police has launched Online Anchor Talent Hunt Contest for school students whose winners, including two girls and two boys, would conduct stage of national level ‘Student-Police Cadet Programme’ to be organised at Gurugram on December 24, 2017.

        While stating this today, Director General of Police, Mr. B.S. Sandhu said that the ‘Student-Police Cadet Programme’ would be inaugurated by Union Home Minister, Mr. Rajnath Singh and Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal. He said that this would be happening for first time when students would conduct stage in a national level function.
He said that school students of classes VIII to ten plus two can participate under this programme. Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime against Women), Mrs. Pooja Dabla has been appointed as Noda Officer for this programme.

        In order to participate in this contest, the students would have to upload their two-minute anchoring video on Facebook link facebook.com/studentpolicecadetprogram and subject of this video would be utility of Student-Police Cadet Programme. Information of the programme is available on website studentpolicecadet.in or students could also take information from twitter handle @studentpolice, he added.

        He said that the videos would be reviewed by experienced judges and 16 anchors would be selected on the basis of confidence level, speaking style, likes received on Facebook and number of shares. The best four anchors including, two boys and two girls, would be selected through auditions and they would conduct the stage of the function. He said that these four anchors and those securing place in final 16 would be given citations and attractive prizes besides their school principals and teachers concerned would also be honoured.
