Chandigarh, Dec 5 – In a drive to curb overloaded vehicles, Haryana Transport Department has challaned 638 overloaded vehicles and collected fine of Rs 1.80 crore in November in Karnal district.

            While giving this information today, an official spokesman said that a fine of Rs 1.28 crore was collected for overloaded vehicles in October. All the vehicle owners had been requested, not to overload their vehicles and violate the traffic rules, he added.
