Chandigarh, Nov 27 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal said that survey of unauthorised colonies was being conducted in Karnal and decision to regularise such colonies would be taken on the basis of the survey report.
The Chief Minister, who was redressing the grievances of people in Janta Darbar in Karnal today, said that jobs were being offered to youth on the basis of their qualifications rather than recommendations.
On the complaint regarding bad condition of Meerut road, the Chief Minister directed the officers of Public Works (Building and Road) Department to communicate with officers at headquarter level and get the needful done at the earliest.
On the demand of a park made by the residents of Pritam Nagar, it was informed that No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the park is yet to be received from Irrigation Department. On this, the officer of Irrigation Department informed that NOC for this purpose would soon be issued.
Regarding several complaints pertaining to unauthorised constructions, the Chief Minister directed the officers concerned that unauthorised possessions on panchayat land and streets should not take place. If such activity takes place then officer concerned would be held responsible, he added.
