Chandigarh, Nov 17 – Haryana Government has a target to provide all facilities to sports persons in their villages and in this direction, vyayamshalas have been made operational in 1,500 villages of the state.
This was informed by Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, who was speaking after inaugurating a vyayamshala in village Aurangabad, district Sonepat today.
He said that a sports stadium was already there in village Aurangabad and now a vyayamshala has also been opened in the village where sports persons can practice all sports such as wrestling, volleyball, kabaddi, hockey and football. He said that the present State Government has been paying equal attention to both education and sports. He said that new educational institutions were coming up in the Education City which would provide better education opportunities to youth of the area.
The Chief Minister said that the State Government had set a target to give LPG connection to each woman in the state and has successfully achieved it.
