Vigilance workshop conducted.
Chandigarh, 1st November, 2017: Vigilance Cell, UT, Chandigarh today conducted a workshop in Government Post Graduate college for Girls, Sector 42, Chandigarh wherein Sh. Sukhraj Katewa Officer on Special Duty, Vigilance, UT, Chandigarh delivered a lecture and made the students and staff of the college aware about the theme “My vision- Corruption free India” where he laid emphasis on the causes and measures to tackle corruption and highlighted the security measures to be taken care by girl students.
Sh. P.N. Khanna, Chief-Lead District Manager of Punjab National Bank, Sector 17, Chandigarh was also associated with the workshop. Similarly, a slogan writing competition was also organized in Government Senior Secondary School Sector 40 by Punjab National Bank Sector 40 Branch where Sh. Sukhraj Katewa OSD/Vigilance delivered a lecture to make the students aware that every citizen should be vigilant and commit to highest standards of honesty and integrity at all time and support the fight against corruption.
On 31.10.2017, a lecture on “My vision- Corruption free India” was also delivered by Sh. Sukhraj Katewa, OSD/Vigilance in the office of National Insurance Company Ltd. regional office, Chandigarh where he emphasised on the need to bring transparency in insurance sector so that more and more citizens could be benefited out of the insurance policies (GI/LI). Sh. Amandeep Singh, Chief Regional Manager and Sh. K. Vijay, Chief Manager from the Head Office, National Insurance Kolkata also addressed their staff regarding corruption free India.
A workshop was also held on 30th October on the theme that was organized in the premises of SBI Main Head Office (Learning Centre) Sector 14; Panchkula under the chairmanship of Sh. Sanjeev Malhotra, DGM, Vigilance of SBI, Chandigarh Circle, who expressed his views amongst the gathering . A quiz competition was also organized on the theme of awareness in the banking system and winners of the same were awarded during the occasion. Sh. Sukhraj Katewa, OSD/Vigilance also conveyed his valuable views where he highlighted the role of banking sector in a general citizens life and how transparency can be brought in the this sector.
Earlier on 27.10.2017 as well, Sh. Sukhraj Katewa delivered a lecture in the PEC Auditorium during their annual fest and sensitized the students about the aspects of corruption and measures to be taken for ensuring corruption free society.
