Haryana Governor, Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki has urged people of the state to take pledge to further making Haryana the most developed state equipped with modern techniques and technology.
Chandigarh, Nov 1 – Haryana Governor, Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki has urged people of the state to take pledge to further making Haryana the most developed state equipped with modern techniques and technology.
Prof. Solanki, who was speaking in the State level Haryana Divas function which was celebrated with full enthusiasm at Haryana Raj Bhavan here today, said that the state had undertaken unprecedented development in every area. When formed in 1966 it was a desert state, but now it is among the developed states of the country.
The function was inaugurated by Prof. Solanki and the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal by lighting traditional lamp. The Governor announced to give Rs seven lakh to artistes who gave performance in the function.
