Only textbook education is not enough for developing the personality of a person-Solanki.

Chandigarh, Sept 15 – Haryana Governor, Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki said that only textbook education is not enough for developing the personality of a person, one also has to have the spirit of selfless service.
Prof. Solanki was speaking after giving away state awards to members of Hindustan Scouts and Guides, Haryana, in Haryana Raj Bhavan, here today. Education Minister and State President, Hindustan Scouts and Guides, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma was also present on this occasion.
Congratulating the awardees, Prof. Solanki urged the members of Hindustan Scouts and Guides to participate in the sanitation campaign which was launched in the state today and would continue till October 2, 2017.
Speaking on the occasion, the Education Minister said that the Hindustan Scouts and Guides was working in the field of social service by following the ideals of Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya and Pandit Shri Ram Bajpai.
