State Vigilance Bureau, Haryana has caught red handed five officers and officials of different departments while accepting illegal gratification

Chandigarh, Sept 13- The State Vigilance Bureau, Haryana has caught red handed five officers and officials of different departments while accepting illegal gratification ranging from Rs 4000 to Rs 10,000 and registered cases against them under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 during month of July, 2017.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Bureau said that apart from this, it has registred 4 enquiries during the period and also recommended departmental action against 5 Gazetted Officers and 3 Non-Gazetted Officer (NGO)on the basis of enquires conducted during the month.
He said that Krishan Kumar, Sub –Inspector posted at Police Station, Sohna, district Gurugram has been caught red handed while accepting bribe of Rs 10,000, whereas Rohtash, Patwari posted at Halqa Ongad,district Karnal has been caught red handed while accepting bribe of Rs 5000. Apart from this, Sachin Kumar, Assistant in the office of Block Development and Panchayat officer, Cheeka, Kaithal has been caught red handed while accepting bribe of Rs 5000.
He said that while Ravi alias Ravinder Kumar, and Jagat Singh, Clerks posted in the office of Haryana Roadways, district Charkhi Dadri and Jind have been caught red handed while accepting illegal gratification of Rs10, 000 and 4000 respectively.
