Haryana Police have arrested Subodh, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, and recovered illegal weapons, including four country-made pistols with magazine.

Chandigarh, September 7—The Haryana Police have arrested Subodh, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, and recovered illegal weapons, including four country-made pistols with magazine, three desi kattey, .32 bore 16 cartridges and .315 bore 6 cartridges, from his possession, in Rohtak.
Giving this information here today, a spokesman of the Police Department said investigations revealed that these weapons were to be supplied in Rohtak with the intention of carrying out nefarious activities.
Acting swiftly on the tip-off received about a person from UP who had come to supply these weapons in Rohtak, a team of CIA-2 nabbed the accused from near HUDA City Park, opposite new bus-stand, in Rohtak. The accused has been arrested after registering a case against him under the Arms Act, Sections 454/17 in Police Station Civil Line.
His criminal record is also being checked and the case is being investigated to nab the other accused, he added.
