Additional funds to the tune of over Rs 64.07 lakh for the installation of 17 Mobile Phone Jammers at District Jail, Gurugram.

Chandigarh September 2 – With a view to further beef-up the security in the jail premises, the Haryana Government has approved additional funds to the tune of over Rs 64.07 lakh for the installation of 17 Mobile Phone Jammers at District Jail, Gurugram.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Prisons Department said that Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal has approved a proposal in this regard. A budgetary provision of Rs 10 crores is already available with the department.
He said that 17 Mobile Phone Jammers model EC-SJJE-200 to be installed at District Jail, Gurugram would help further strengthening the security in the jail premises.
