Haryana Police have taken into possession a Gypsy car registered to Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa.

Chandigarh, Aug 29 – Haryana Police have taken into possession a Gypsy car registered to Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa, which was found abandoned in district Kurukshetra, and recovered walkie-talkie set, lathi, three bottles of MSG, four plastic pipes smelling of petrol and body protector jacket from the vehicle.
While stating this today, Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra, Mr. Abhishek Garg, said that the district Police had taken stringent security measures and were carrying out checking of vehicles at various nakas set up throughout the district.
Receiving information about the vehicle abandoned by an unknown person near village Bargat Jatan, a Police team reached the spot and took the car into its possession. Documents recovered from the vehicle revealed that the car was registered to Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa. Further investigation is underway, he added.
He said that strict action would be taken against those who violate Section 144 imposed in the district. Two additional companies of the Border Security Force (BSF) have been deployed in the district, besides Duty Magistrates and Police officers, who have formed peace committees along with Sarpanches, Panches, Municipal Councillors and other prominent persons to maintain peace and law and order situation.
